How are these different from AWS Trusted Advisor, Azure Advisor or Google's Active Assist?

They cover all three clouds in one list, with the same filters, statuses and dollar figures everywhere, and each one is explained by an AI Summary. Checks also run where the native tools are thin: Kubernetes node pools, serverless functions, databases, caches and snapshots.

How do you avoid recommending something that isn't really waste?

Every check uses 30 days of metrics and skips resources under 7 days old. Missing metrics are never treated as zero usage, so a resource without monitoring is left alone rather than flagged. Anything that looks like production, and any GPU instance, is marked so you check before you act.

Does it need an agent or broad IAM permissions?

No. Economize is agentless and reads billing data and monitoring metrics through the read-only role you grant at onboarding. Nothing runs inside your accounts.

Are the savings numbers real, and do you track them after we act?

Yes. Each saving is the monthly difference between what the resource costs now and what it would cost after the fix, rebuilt every day. Mark a recommendation resolved and Economize checks your cloud a few days later; only confirmed fixes count toward Savings till date. Dismiss one for 7 days, 30 days or forever, and it comes back if the resource changes.

Do recommendations cover OpenAI and Anthropic spend too?

Not yet. Recommendations run on AWS, Google Cloud and Azure resources today. AI cost tracking for OpenAI, Anthropic, Amazon Bedrock, Google Vertex AI and Azure AI Foundry is live, and AI cost optimization is on the roadmap.
